Rebrand - ¨Refresh¨

FoxLife is a GE channel with a feminine flavour. Therefore, although it has a feminine soul, it’s not a channel only for women.

The new gfx pack needed to feel like a natural evolution of the original one. Even though it was not the same, it had to deliver a clear continuity of branding.

We retained the idea of life, being alive, being surprised!, everyday objects, diversity, intimate. It exudes more maturity, is more glamorous and less feminine in a cliche manner. It is stylish and more relaxed, inspiring and intimate. It is a cocktail of light.

The biggest challenge in relation to the production of the restyle of the channel was to respect all the attributes that made it successful and to keep its essence while simultaneously giving it a new air and tone. It was not a drastic rebranding process, but a refreshing one.

We came up with the idea of a thread interconnecting all those elements. The emotions would be connected by this COMMON THREAD in all its possible materialities and languages: hyperrealist thread, sewing thread, golden thread, silver thread. It can be a wire. It can be a creeper plant. It can be a graphic line. It can be a line written in ink. Or even a line of light, transforming and connecting the emotions.

The whole package is made up of more than 90 pieces: IDs, brand animations, interstitials, menues, endpages, line ups, bumpers, lower thirds, info slates, elevators, print ads, stationary, etc., all multiplied by 5 categories.

The channel currently reaches more than 38 million homes in 80 countries, including the Balkans, Bulgaria, Baltics, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Ukraine and the CIS, Greece, Turkey, Japan, Korea and the Latin American countries. It is also available in HD in selected markets.
